Next Generation Tennis (NGT) seeks to introduce and provide a different dimension and opportunity for players of all ages and levels to excel to their individual capabilities.

NGT is a nurturing ground for players from “pee wee” age, through to “elite” players. Each and every player, young or old, will be catered for in an individualized program that best suits their needs. As we have a firm belief in 2 systems: “PACT” – Parent- Athlete- Coach= Team (for the younger player specifically); and that “We do not teach systems, we teach individuals.”

An environment is created where the player feels comfortable and excels at a reasonable rate through a combination of mental, physical, technical and tactical training.

Youth Day Tennis Tournament: One Day Event 16 June 2011

Next Generation Tennis will be holding a one day “Youth Day tournament” for the kids from 8.30am- 11am. We will have a round robin or draw format depending on the number of entries. Two sections will be made available to make it more enjoyable and competitive. A “tennis 10s section” and an “over 10 section”. Older kids will be grouped separately for round robins. For the younger kids we will run the tournament based on the new Tennis 10s format introduced by the International Tennis Federation.

This will be a great exercise to let your child be involved in and will be very beneficial for their tennis. The cost of this event will be R150. Prizes will be awarded and the exercise is not to necessarily find a winner, but to create an atmosphere of match play and healthy competition among the kids. Please use the enquiries section (Contact Us page) on our website for entry to this event. Please use the following reference for your entry to be identified; 16 June 2011 Tournament Entry. Don’t forget to include the names of the player(s) entering the event. Your support will be greatly appreciated. More kids, more tennis, better play!
